Job Brief
- Our client provides point of sale (POS) solutions predominantly for the hospitality industry and require a technical sales support officer to join. Open to junior with technical background or senior candidate.
The Client
The Role
• Research new hardware and software products of Suppliers’ goods and services. • Respond to phone inquiries for POS Systems purchases. • Assess customers’ needs and recommend and explain goods and services to them, conduct product demonstrations. • Quote and negotiate prices, follow up on quotes, complete contracts and record orders. • Delivery and installation of POS systems, hardware and software, programming, training of customers in use of POS systems and software. • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with goods and services purchased, and resolve any problems arising. • Re-engage with prior customers looking to upgrade, or adding additional terminals. • Monitor customers’ changing needs and competitor activity, and report these developments to the Business Manager.
ICT Technical Support: • Provide technical support via the support desk, on-site and at customers’ premises. • Book in repairs if needed • Programming of new cash registers through demonstration, or over the phone • Re-programming of return cash registers. • Basic repairs and testing of non-operational cash register. • Training on POS Systems on-site or at customers’ premises. Training will be provided as required and you will work under senior sales technicians with a wealth of product and market knowledge. An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate. Office hours 8:30am - 5pm weekdays. All applications in the strictest of confidence.
