Senior Project Manager – OIL & GAS

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior PM to join one of key clients in a permanent opportunity.

 We are looking for the following criteria:

  *10+ years relevant post graduate mechanical engineering experience (preferably in oil & gas including drill rig and shipyard experience)

 *Mechanical engineering technical design experience

 *Hydraulics and control systems

 *Mechanical Components

 *Lifting Systems

 *Excellent written and oral communication skills

 *Strong people and project management skills

 *Innovative approach to problem solving

 *Business Development skills

*Ability to work effectively in a multi discipline team environment

*Strong commitment to Safety and Quality

*Australian Residency Rights

*Commercial acumen and nous, with experience in preparing proposals

*Flexibility for site work if required

Desirable:

*Customer Relationship Management skills

*Experience in control systems design

*Knowledge of jack-up and semi-submersible drilling rigs

*Experience with drilling equipment/operations

*Other qualifications e.g. Mandarin language skills, Commerce or Marketing

 Remuneration - The client is looking to pay a salary in the region of $180,000 however this is completely negotiable and is down to skill and experience.
