Our client is a Transport company who specialise in providing logistics solutions to their many customers Australia wide. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Executive to join their Perth operation on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the primary focus of the role is to generate new business opportunities and further develop their existing client base.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Working closely in conjunction with the Branch Manager it will be the individuals responsibility to develop existing accounts and seek out new business opportunities
*Conduct face to face client meetings and promote the company products and services
*Provide detailed and regular reports to the Branch Managers to the current state of the market and potential opportunities either short or long term
*Follow up on quoted enquires, providing detailed feedback and have the ability to negotiate and secure the business
*In conjunction with the Branch Manager produce high quality reports and proposals, which persuade prospects / clients of the benefits of the Company products and services
*Manage the sales process from initial opportunity
*Demonstrate the ability to work to clients KPI's
*Record all client information on the CRM database and perform regular updates
*Prepare considered, realistic forecasts in a timely fashion to the Branch Manager
*Attend and contribute to sales meeting, presentations, and training courses, recognizing the value of one&rsquos own contribution to those events
What you will need to have to be considered for this position:
*Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar results driven sales role
*Absolute understanding of the sales cycle process
*Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiar in using a CRM database
*Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
*Understanding of relevant customers, their market drivers and processes
*Professional attitude with a strong business acumen
*Excellent relationship building skills
*Strong negotiation skills
*Articulate and excellent time management skills
*Results driven and client focussed
