The Client
Our client, a leading privately owned supplier of engineering products and instrumentation, specialises in the sales and distribution of a wide range of locally and internationally manufactured products, working in the oil and gas, mining and power industry.
The Role
We are looking for a sales professional with a specific background in control valves, pressure products, safety valves etc. The company is small but experiencing strong growth and looking for an individual to join the team long term. As such, company equity will be negotiated along with an excellent salary package to the successful applicant
Reporting to the Managing Director, this roles' primary purpose is to manage existing accounts, whilst also developing new business through introducing new products and developing new customers. Key responsibilities are:
· Establish and build long term client relationships
· Managing existing accounts that have a steady flow of existing business
· Implement regular outbound customer contact and onsite visits as required
· Own the overall customer experience from a sales and service perspective
This full time position will suit someone who can:
· Show strong technical sales of either control valves or pressure products including pressure relief valves and bursting disks
· Take a practical hands on approach to solving technical problems and delivering results
· Build a business, identify new opportunities and negotiate with flair
· Self-direct, take initiative and is comfortable working independently
· Demonstrate excellent time management, administration and presentation skills
