The Client

Our client is a WA owned business that specialise in providing technical/industrial products and consumables to a diverse range of Trade clients and other related industries. They pride themselves on their quality products and providing excellent customer service and technical advice.

The Role

With their committed team, their business has gone from strength to strength and they are now looking to appoint an experienced Sales and Marketing Representative to promote their Hardware products to their existing and potential clients within an allocated territory.

This is a vital position within the business and will require someone on a permanent basis who is ideally available to work the hours of Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm.

Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

*Pro-actively promote the companys hardware product range to new and existing clients

*Develop and maintain strong business relationships with all key stake-holders

*Actively involved in the marketing and launch of the new product range

*On a daily basis, conduct client site visits to secure new orders

*Liaise with customers and assist with general enquiries on the companys hardware product range, offering technical advice and product information

*Up-selling of additional products on customers initial order and also cross-selling other products and services within the business

*Pro-actively advise existing and potential customers of sales promotions and product improvements

*To increase sales through various direct and in-direct methods whilst at all times maintaining profit contributions

*Develop marketing and sales strategies to target potential clients

*Provide statistical, development and sales reports to senior management

*Maintaining and developing the customer database, ensuring the accuracy of all information that is entered

*General administrative duties and working to office procedures

To be considered for this position, you will require:

*Ideally you will have gained previous experience in a Sales or Marketing role

*Proven new business development/marketing skills

*Excellent account management and customer service skills

*Full WA drivers licence

*Excellent PC and Data Entry skills, good keyboard speed with a high attention to detail

*Team player

*Highly motivated and ambitious

*Able to use own initiative, pro-active and forward thinking

*Excellent communication skills
