The Client

Our client specialise in providing an engineered safety product to the Mining/Resources, Petro-Chemical and other related industry sectors. They pride themselves on their quality product and providing excellent sales support and technical advice.

The Role

Allstar Recruitment are now taking expressions of interest for this position.

This division within their business has gone from strength to strength and they are now looking to appoint an International Sales Representative to promote their product in Australia and specified overseas markets.

This is a vital position within the business and will require someone on a permanent basis who has the flexibility for International travel.

Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

*Ensure sales turnover by at least the agreed budget level or better as set by General Manager and Directors

*Sustain and grow the business in traditional regions and markets

*Maximize margins and returns on product, service and spares

*Actively market the business from the existing client base and also introduce new clients

*Grow the business in new regions and markets as set by GM and directors

*Establish and Maintain good working relationships with mining stakeholders and end users

*To develop a very sound and practical knowledge of products and services of the business and provide the client with training and technical support

*Be up to date with competitor activities

*Provide sales, financial and budget reports to Senior Management

*Ensure own safety by complying with Occupation Health and Safety requirements of Western Australia

*Up hold the company policies, procedures, reporting and ISO9001 management system

*Support Overseas Contractors and agents

*Travel as required to customer sites, expos and conferences within Australia and overseas

*Ensure business is professionally conducted and well represented

*Devote full attention and use best endeavours to further the development, reputation and business of the company

To be considered for this position, you will require:

*Proven Senior Sales experience gained within the Mining/Resources, Petro-Chemical or related industry

*Professional attitude with strong business acumen

*Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new products and provide training

*Excellent relationship building skills

*Flexible to travel internationally

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Articulate and excellent time management skills

*Results driven and client focussed

*Competent with MS Office applications including spread sheets
