The Client

Our client is a Major Mining & Minerals engineering business specialising in the supply and delivery of specialist engineering solutions to major Mining Projects across Australia and throughout the globe. The company has enjoyed rapid growth within Australia and is continuing to welcome a full order book and forecast sustained market growth. The company presently has a turnover of between $250M - $300M and employs approximately 100-200 employees within its Perth location.

The Role

Are you an experienced General Manager / Business Manager who has a solid background leading, managing and delivering a business unit to produce profitable returns and growth? Is your background squarely in the Mining & Minerals / Materials / Bulk Handling industry? Do you have the drive and motivation to be able to drive a business forward??? If yes please read on....

This role is for a Manager of Operations/ General Manager / Managing Director to join the business in an exciting and rewarding role focussed on Managing, leading and driving a business function forward, producing growth and delivering company objectives, projects and managing P&L within the business.

Background

You will have a solid Engineering background ideally having worked your way from Engineer through to Manager and will presently performing the function of General Manger / Operations Manager / Business Manager or associated strategic and leadership function. I.e. Managing Director. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering growth, managing a company's day to day business function and assisting in Project delivery coupled with being an interface / company representative with the client.

Qualifications

You will be degree qualified as an Engineer ideally however not essential possess an MBA.

Remuneration

The successful candidate can expect to receive a salary package in the region of $300,000 PA (negotiable) with any other benefits etc discussed at interview stage.
