Area Sales Representative

Our client offers products to trade clients and is looking to appoint an Area Sales Representative to further increase sales by developing new business relationships and servicing existing accounts. Reporting to the Managing Director, this newly created position will play a vital role in driving the business forward and will work closely with Senior Management team. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Increase sales by developing new client relationships
• Account manage existing client base
• Contact dormant customers to reactivate them
• Represent the company at tradeshows and various networking events
• Conduct market research activities
• Take calls from all new enquiries and promote the company&rsquos product range
• Maintain and keep comprehensive contacts and client details in the database
• Monitor and advise customers of every sale and its progress through to delivery
• Achieve the budget as set out
• Prepare/present financial and sales reports to Senior Management
• Working to sales and revenue based targets

Skills and experience required:

• Business development/sales experience
• Proven experience in account management and relationship building
• Proven negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident with client meetings
• Good computer skills
• Experience in working to sales targets
• Ability to prioritise own workload to plan own working week
• Current WA driving licence
• Team player
